      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, August 16, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - May R. Jackson Longtime Pulaski Resident - May R. Jackson, 101, of Springbrook Apartments, died Wednesday at Loretto Heights Nursing Home, Oswego. Born September 20, 1894, in Woonsockett, South Dakota, a daughter of John and Sarah Grant Reynolds, she lived in Pulaski for 87 years. She worked for several years for the County Home, Mexico, and was a home health aide for many years. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Fernwood Baptist Church, Pulaski Chapter 157, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Pulaski Grange. Surviving are a son, IIarold A., Ocala, Florida.; a sister, Ruth Murray, Pulaski; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Three sons, William Jr., George and Leon, died before her. A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park St., with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the United Friends of Homeless Animals, Pulaski.
