- Mrs. Edith Mahaffy, 83, 7472 Salina street, Pulaski, widow of Fred G. Mahaffy, died Mar. 9, 1973 in Faxton hospital, Utica.
The funeral was held Monday, at the Foster-Hax funeral home, Pulaski, Rev. Edwin Potter, officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski cemetery.
Mrs. Mahaffy is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Clark (Betty) Briggs, New Hartford and three grandchildren.
Born July 31, 1889, in Albion, daughter of Daniel and Lena William Scriber, she attended local schools. Mr. Mahaffy was a self employed plumber. He died May 19, 1969.
She was a member of the Park United Methodist church, American Legion Auxiliary, Order of Eastern Star and former director of the American Cancer Society for Oswego County.
