Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, November 3, 1960 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Herbert W. Minckler died early this morning in his home on the Scenic Highway. Born in New Haven August 29, 1890, he was the son of Albert and Cora Hamilton Minckler. In 1920 he was married to Ethel North and since that time operated a farm on the Scenic Highway. He was a member of the Fernwood Methodist church, the South Richland Grange and the Farm Bureau. With his wife he is survived by a son, Norman, who now operates the farm; one daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Laws of Fulton; one brother, Claude Minckler of Mexico and two grandchildren. Services will be held at the Minckler home Sunday at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Willis cemetery. Friends may call at the Minckler home at their convenience after Friday noon.
