Newspaper Obituary - Monday, October 23, 1939 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, October 23 - Frank A. Lodge, 58, died at his home three miles south of this village on the Syracuse road, Sunday morning. He had been ill some time. He was born in 1881 at the old Lodge homestead, son of Job and Mary Hutchins Lodge. He was educated in Pulaski schools, and Lancaster academy in Massachusetts. He was in turn book agent, farmer and office holder in Washington, D. C., where he spent five years. He was later employed by the Pulaski hardware company for five years. He married Miss Anna Johnson of Minnesota. They bought the farm on which he died and operated a farm and lodge sanatorium, tourists home and restaurant until a short time ago. He is survived by his wife; his father, Job Lodge of Pulaski; four brothers, George and Robert of Pulaski, Charles of Ilion, and Louis of Canandaigua; and one sister, Mrs. Helen Castor of Canandaigua. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 o'clock in the afternoon at his late home. Burial will be in Willis cemetery.
