    • Josephine (Honey) Antosh, 88, of East Stanton Street, Hudson, died Sunday in the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, following a lengthy illness.

      Born in Hudson, she was a daughter of the late Casimer and Mary Salamacha Jesikiewicz. She attended Plains schools and was a lifelong resident.

      She was employed in the local shoe factory industry until her retirement.

      She was a member of St. Joseph Church, Hudson; a charter member and past officer of the Confraternity of Christian Mothers of St. Joseph Church and the Senior Citizens' Organization of Plains.

      She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward A., on October 28, 1994; by sisters Constance Jesikiewicz, Frances Audelevicz and Pearl Bogut; and by brothers John and Frank Jesikiewicz.

      Surviving are a daughter, Mary Jo Bennett, Endwell, New York; son Philip, Hudson; grandchildren Rebecca Antosh, Rachel Antosh, Renee Antosh, Todd Bennett and Tanya Bennett; great-grandchildren Michael and Adam Williams; and a sister, Rose Valinsky, Shelton, Connecticut.

      The funeral will be held Friday at 9 a.m. from the Mark V. Yanaitis Funeral Home, 55 Stark Street, Plains, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, Hudson.

      Interment will be in SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Plains.

      Friends may call Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
      The Confraternity of Christian Mothers will recite the Rosary Thursday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. and form an honor guard Friday morning, before the funeral Mass in St. Joseph Church. .
