- Elinor Smith Rozelle Dies at West Pittston
Mrs. Elinor Smith Rozelle, 87, a member of a pioneer Wyoming Valley family, died Saturday night at the home of her granddaughter, Mrs. Verna Dymond, 511 Luzerne Avenue, West Pittston. She was the widow of Percy C. Rozelle of Mt. Zion.
Mrs. Rozelle was the daughter of the late Robert and Lydia Bennett Smith and was born December 29, 1849. She was the sister of the late J. Bennet Smith and Samuel R. Smith of Kingston and spent most of her life on the West Side. She was an devout member of Kingston Presbyterian Church.
The funeral will be held from the Dymond residence Tuesday afternoon at 2 with services in charge of REv. Ebenezer Flack of Kingston Presbyterian Church. Interment in Forty Fort Cemetery.
