Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, July 22, 2014 Syracuse Post-Standard - Syracuse, New York - Louis A. Gregory, age 67, resident of Richland, until 2006, when he moved to Newaygo, Michigan, passed away Saturday at his home. Louis was born August 4, 1946 in Oswego, the son of Reuben and Oleta Trumble Gregory. He attended Pulaski Schools and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1968 until 1972. He was married to Sharon DeShane on August 21, 1982. Louis was employed by Schoeller Technical Paper in Pulaski for 19 years, retiring in 2000. Surviving is his wife Sharon, one son, Chad Southwell of Richland, one daughter Sally (Travis) Maurer of Newaygo, Michigan, four brothers, Donald of Pulaski, Larry of Sandy Creek, James of Parish and John Trumble of Mississippi, five sisters, Lois Mosher and Beverley Mosher both of Watertown, June Russell and Connie Oberton both of South Carolina, and Patricia Branaham of Oklahoma, and five grandchildren. Louis was predeceased by one son, David Gregory who died January 14, 1990 and one sister, Thelma Moot who died in 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski, with burial, with military honors, in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Foster-Flax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski.
