- Helen H. Holland, resided many years in Fulton-Mexico area
Funeral services for Helen H. Holland, 67, of 118 Tallman St., Oswego, who died Thursday, Oct. 26, at St, Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse, were held Monday, Oct. 30, in the New Haven United Methodist Church. Burial was in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
A native of Fulton, Mrs. Holland resided most of her life in the Mexico-Fulton area.
She lived in Florida seven years before moving to Oswego several months ago. She was employed 20 years with Foster's Soda Fountain in Fulton.
Mrs. Holland was a member of St. John's Methodist Church in Cotton Plant, FL, and the United Methodist Women. She volunteered at a hospital in Florida.
She is survived by four daughers, Susan Stratton of Syracuse, Jean Corey of New Haven, Kathleen Thompson of Pennellville, and Maureen Egan of Ilion; seven sons, Donald Egan of Pittston, PA, Michael and David Egan both of Rochester, James and Patrick Eagan both of New Haven, Timothy Egan of Hawaii, and Daniel Eagan of Syracuse; two stepsons, Robert Holland of Fulton and Steven Holland of Alabama; four stepdaughters, Joyce McDougall of Alabama, Trudy Darwace of Cropeyville, Diane Pitcher of Fulton and Kelly Darling of Oswego; three brothers, Charles and Jack both of Fulton and James Durfey of Ocala, FL; a sister Jean O'Brien of Rochester; 28 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
