      Charles William Eason, 83, of Pulaski, died June 30, 1971 in Oswego hospital.

      The funeral was Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral home, with Rev. Edwin Potter, pastor of Park United Methodist church, and
      Rev. Virgil Hager, pastor, Sandy Creek Baptist church, officiating. Burial was in Pulaski cemetery.

      Survivors include a daughter by his first marriage, Miss Lucille Eason, a teacher in the Syracuse public school system.

      He was born Oct. 3, 1887, at Butterfly Corners, son of Charles and Sarah Baker Eason. He married Lula B. Stark of Pulaski. After her death in June, 1948, he married Jessie Lane, also of Pulaski, on Sept. 3, 1949. She died last November at the age of 82 in an auto accident.

      For years Mr. Eason' owned and operated the Eason Motor Express between Syracuse and Pulaski. He was also a mechanic in Syracuse at one time.

      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, July 7, 1971 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - C. William Eason Rites Held July 2 - Charles William Eason of Maple Avenue died Wednesday, June 30 in Oswego Hospital. He had been a patient there on several occasions since an auto accident at Cortland last fall that took the life of his wife, Jessie L. Eason. He was born October 23, 1887 at Butterfly Corners, the son of Charles and Sarah Baker Eason. His first wife, Lula Stark Eason died in 1948. He owned and operated Eason Motor Express for many years, between Syracuse and Pulaski. He was a member of Park United Methodist Church, Pulaski Grange, Royal Arch Masons, and was a 50-year member of Pulaski Chapter No. 415, F.& A.M. He is survived by a daughter, Miss Lucille Eason, a teacher in the Syracuse public school system. Funeral services were held Friday, July 2 at Foster-Hax Funeral Home with the Rev. Edwin A. Potter and the Rev. Virgil Hager officiating. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery. A Masonic service was held Thursday evening at the funeral home.
