[Note: After Franklin’s death, Harriet Edwards married Clifton Stannard; Harriet died in Clinton, New York on March 12, 1974, and according to her obituary, she is buried in Ilion Cemetery at Ilion, New York.]
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, March 19, 1942 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Franklin Edwards Funeral Sunday - A resident of this village all his life, Franklin E. Edwards, 47, died early Friday morning. He was a son of Charles and Kate Maltby Edwards. He had been employed by the Regal Paper Company a number of years. He retired several years ago because of poor health. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Harriet Edwards; a daughter, Miss Ursula Edwards; a brother, Thomas Edwards of Boston, Massachusetts, and two sisters, Mrs. Lawson Lighthall, Pulaski; and Mrs. J. Ellis, Auburn. Another brother, Robert Edwards, was killed in the first World War. The Pulaski Legion Post is named in his memory. The funeral was Sunday afternoon at the home of his sister, Mrs. Lawson Lighthall. Rev. W. R. Rogers officiated. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery.
