    • Dennis P. Daly, age 82, of 9130 DeMott St. Lacona, died Mon., Feb. 9 at his home.

      Born Mar. 30, 1898 in the town of Boylston, he was the son of James and Ruth Ridgeway Daly. He was educated in Boylston.

      He was married on June 15, 1917 to the former Leuella Gardner. He was employed at Blount Lumber Co; and retired in 1962. Mrs. Daly died Oct. 27, 1973.

      Surviving are 2 daughters: Mrs. Fay (Dorothy) Reid of Lacona and Mrs. Al (Marie) Alverson of Syracuse; 2 sons: Ronald Daly, and Leon Daly of Lacona; 2 sisters: Mrs. Anna Ridgeway, and Mrs. Ruth Pierce, both of Pulaski. There are 6 grandchildren, 13
      great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

      A daughter, Mrs. Ethel Van Brocklin died on Oct. 24, 1976.

      Funeral services were held Feb. 11 at Summerville Funeral Home, the Rev. Stanley Tanner, pastor of the S.C. United Methodist Church officiating. Spring burial will be in Wesleyan Cemetery.
