- Pulaski-Francis F. Britton, Jr., 62, of Pulaski, passed away Friday, October 24, 2014 at his residence. He was born January 31, 1952 in Syracuse, a son of Francis F. Sr. and Anna Smith Britton.
Francis was employed by McIntosh Box and Pallet Co. in Bernhards Bay. He logged in the area for many years. Francis was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed gardening.
Francis was predeceased by his first wife Sherry Ann Hort Britton in 1972; a brother Charles Britton and a sister Peggy Scott. He is survived by his wife Melanie A. (Pearson) Britton; seven children, Sherry Lynn (Anthony) Britton-Susino of Oswego, Heather Lee (Chris) Meade of Leetonia, OH, Matthew James Britton of Zephyrhills, FL, Tammy S. (Joe) Pailley of Greenwich, NY, Billie Jo (Kenneth Sweeting) Britton of Oswego, Francis F. (Janelle White) Britton III and Michael Allen (Maria) Britton of Syracuse; seventeen grandchildren; father-in-law, William Pearson, Pulaski, NY, four sisters, Mary Ann Bartlett of Ohio, Janet (Robert) Yoran of Canton, NY, Christy (Tom) Hare of Mechanicsville, NY and Margaret (Joe Whipple of Marcellus; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and staff at the Hemotology & Oncology Assoc. of CNY at Brittonfield Pkwy., E. Syracuse for the excellent care and comfort they provided to Francis.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at the LaRobardiere Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Williamstown. Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 11 am to 1 pm at the funeral home, 109 Main St., Camden, NY 13316.
