    • August 23, 1891~Calvin White, age 77 years, 8 days, Farmer, born in Vermont, Son of Alfred and Sallie White, died in the Town of Richland of ulceration of the bowels.

      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 27, 1891 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In Richland, New York, August 23, 1891, Calvin White, aged 77 years. Mr. White was born in Vermont and came to this state when quite a boy and settled near Richland Station. About fifty years ago he was married to Mary Decker, of Ellisburg, who survives him. They have lost four sons, two daughters are living, Mrs. Harrison Cole, of Richland, and Mrs. Woodward, of Lacona. He has been in very poor health for a long time. A few weeks since he was taken worse and on Sunday at half past three p.m., he ceased to breathe. His funeral is to be on Tuesday at one o'clock, at the house, and at two at the Church of Christ. He was a straightforward, kind, honest man and a good neighbor and citizen.
