  • Notes
    • This beautiful soul left this world on Saturday, April 7th to be reunited with her parents Ralph Day, Sr. and Marjorie Day and two older brothers Ralph Day, Jr. and Randy Day. Kathy is survived by her husband, David Bardeschewski of Sandy Creek, NY; her daughters, Lisa Hall and husband Joe Hall of Lacona, NY and Jennifer Bardeschewski and fiancé Jerry Soles of Raleigh, NC; her grandchildren Jada Bachar and Faith Bachar; her sister Debbie Piper and husband Mark Piper; and many wonderful nieces and nephews.

Kathy was born in Gouverneur, NY and graduated from Sandy Creek Central High School in 1972 where she met the love of her life and High School Sweetheart, David Bardeschewski. They raised two wonderful daughters, Lisa and Jennifer. Kathy was dedicated to her career with the New York State Motor Vehicles in Pulaski, NY where she retired as Supervisor. After retirement, she worked at the family’s business, Bardy’s 4 Season’s Tire & Auto located in Sandy Creek.

Kathy had an eye for decorating her home, over the years, she’s enjoyed sewing, crafts, ceramics, reading and golfing with her husband. She absolutely loved spending hours in her flower beds gardening and spending time soaking in the sun’s rays on a warm summer’s day.

She was a member of the VFW Cable Trail Post 8534 Auxiliary, where she volunteered for many years.

Kathy was beyond loved by her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and will remain forever in our hearts.

We welcome family and friends to join us for calling hours Friday, April 13th from 11am - 3pm at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek, NY.

Funeral service at 3pm with burial immediately following at Woodlawn Cemetery in Sandy Creek, NY.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made in Kathy’s memory to the Lacona VFW Cable Trail Post 8534 Auxiliary, 10 Cable Trail, Lacona, NY 13083
