Randy Lee Day, 59, of Sandy Creek, passed away Wednesday at home. Born Jan. 3, 1953, in Gouverneur, N.Y., son of Ralph & Marjorie Brasic Day. Graduated from Sandy Creek High School. Married on Dec. 2, 1972, at St. John's Church in Pulaski to the former Donna King. He was a retired electrician from I.B.E.W. Local #910 in Watertown. He was an avid sports fan of Buffalo Bills & Syracuse Orangemen & member of V.F.W. Men's Aux. #8534.
Survived by his wife Donna, daughter Cherie Day of Rome, N.Y. 2 sons; Michael (Olivia) Day of Jacksonville, Florida & Brian Day of Pulaski, a granddaughter Jasmine Day, his mother Marjorie Day of Sandy Creek, 2 sisters; Kathy (David) Bardeschewski of Sandy Creek & Debra (Mark) Piper of Wisconsin. Predeceased by his father and a brother Ralph Jr.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday at Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek with Rev. Brian Snyder officiating. Burial will be in Hailsboro Cemetery Town of Fowler. Calling hours Friday 5 - 8 PM at the funeral home.
