WILLIAMSTOWN- Leon A. Muckey, 41, of Phoenix, Ariz., and formerly of Williamstown, died Friday, August 27 in Phoenix. Born here, he graduated from Camden Central High School in 1959. He served four years in the Navy, He retired Kirom Carrier Corp. in Syracuse in 1974 because of ill health.
Surviving are his mother, Hazel Pearson of Phoenix, Ariz.; his father, Leon of Constantia; his former wife, Donna Munger Muckey of Pulaski; a son, Leon of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Sonya of Calcium; six sisters, Pauline Webb. of Williamstown, Sandra Fitzgerald of Mexico, Bonnie Smith of Norwich, Melanie Britton of Phoenix, Ariz., Tammy of West Monroe and Shelly of Constantia; a brother, Richard of Camden; and a grandson. Private funeral and burial services were in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown, at the convenience of the family.
