    • Ansil A. Briggs, 58, died suddenly Saturday evening at his home in the town of Palermo. Mr. Briggs was born in Albion and was a veteran of World War I. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Opal Briggs; three daughters, Mrs. William Pryor, Jr., Mrs. Leo Hibfoert and Mrs. Raymond Pryor all of Oswego; a stepson, Ralph Burr of Lancaster; several grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Pittsley of Fulton and Mrs. Leo Murray of Oswego and a brother Louis Briggs of Fulton. Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday from the home in the Palermo-Vermillion road, Route 35. Burial was in Vermillion cemetery.
