    • Paul E. Tousant, 77 of Pulaski, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse with his family by his side following a long illness. He was born in Black River, NY, the son of the late Nelson and Inice Carpenter Tousant. He was a retired dairy farmer. He was a member of the Williamstown Horseshoe League. He was predeceased by four brothers, William, John, George and Orvis along with one sister Florence Forrest.

      Surviving are his wife of 57 years, the former Margaret Matteson; two sons, Thomas (Patricia) Tousant of Pulaski and Nelson Tousant of Pulaski; three daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Ruggio of Oswego, Pamela (Dan) Collins of Pulaski and Barbara Tousant of Oswego; 10 grandchildren, Paul Ruggio, Thomas Ruggio, Michael Ruggio, Ben Tousant, Matt Tousant, Julia Race, Brianna Collins, Mikayla Collins, Edward Lewis and Kerstie Woolson; three great-grandchildren, Colton, Michael and Lacey Coy Tousant.

      Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., Wednesday at the Harter Funeral Home, 9 Washington Ave., Mexico, NY. Spring burial will take place in the South Richland Cemetery. Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, at the funeral home prior to the service.
