- CHARLES E. BELLOWS, FERNWOOD, DIES AT 60

Charles E. Bellows, 60, County Route 41A, employee of Schoeller Technical Papers, Pulaski, died Wednesday afternoon at his home.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Jerry Jenkins, pastor of Assembly of God Church, Pulaski, officiating. Burial will be in South Richland Cemetery.
Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to the Oswego County Hospice, at the H. Douglas Barclay Court House, Pulaski, or to the American Cancer Society.
Surviving are his wife, Barbara; four daughters, Debbie Bellows, Gayle DeLong, Laurie Egan and Kristy Bellows, all of Fernwood; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Donald, Pulaski, and Lynn, Richland, and nieces and nephews.
A brother, Glenn, was killed in action during the Korean War in 1952.
He was born Dec. 5, 1931, in Syracuse, a son of Harrison and Lillian Sloper Bellows. He attended schools in Liverpool and Pulaski.
Mr. Bellows served in the Army from 1952 to 1954 during the Korean War.
He married Barbara Fryer Oct. 9, 1954, in Lysander.
Mr. Bellows was employed by Prestolite Corp., Syracuse, for 32 years. He had worked at Schoeller Technical Papers for the past 8 1/2 years.
He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars post, Pulaski.
