    • Newspaper Obituary - September 10, 1924 Oswego Palladium - Oswego, New York - Albert Briggs - Albert Briggs, 81, died last evening at the home of his son, William Briggs, at New Haven, where he had resided for the past six years. Most of Mr. Briggs’ four score years were passed at Albion, where he was well-known, and from which place he enlisted in the 110th, Volunteer Infantry, Company B, for service in the Civil War. Surviving are eight children; William Briggs, New Haven; Mrs. Barney Dennie, Pulaski; Mrs. Eugene Holley, Albion; Mrs. R. Preeman, Mexico; Mrs. Charles Heffell, Woodville; Hiram Briggs, Richland; Mrs. Ezra Barden, Earlville, Mrs Lulu Sampson, Oswego. The funeral will be held Friday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. J. Warren of the M. E. church officiating. Interment at New Haven.
