    • Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 20, 1874 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Casket - Mandigo - In Sandy Creek, August 15th, 1874, Peter Mandigo, aged 74 years.

      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, August 31, 1874 - Oswego County - Mr. Peter Mandigo, an old man eighty years of age, while building a hay stack for his son on Israel Baldwin's farm, four miles southwest of Sandy Creek, met with a fatal accident. He was descending the ladder, one of the rounds of which broke and precipitated him head foremost to the ground, a distance of some ten feet, injuring the spine so severely as to deprive the lower limbs of all feeling. He has since died.
