      Newspaper Obituary -Thursday, August 9, 1962 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Rites Friday for C. J. Anson - Claude J. Anson, born April 6, 1885 at Centerville, the son of Spencer J. and Priscilla Donovan Anson, died Monday night at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Watertown. Before he retired, Mr. Anson had been employed for 40 years by the Borden Milk Company and lived in Detroit, Michigan. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ella Youngsworth Anson; two daughters, Mrs. John Haist and Mrs. Arthur Helfer, both of Westerville, Ohio; a son, Edward Anson of Detroit; a brother, Lewis Anson of Altmar; five sisters, Mrs. Edith Spencer of Richland, Mrs. Michael Keane of Knoxville, Tennessee, Mrs. Mildred Weed of Syracuse, Mrs. Blanche Mellon of Oswego and Mrs. Ruth Brewer of Richland; and five grandchildren. A high Mass of requiem will be celebrated at the service to be held at St. John the Evangelist Church, Friday at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in Richland Cemetery. Calling hours at the Taylor Funeral Home are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday.
