    • Newspaper Obituary - May 23, 2002 Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Dean P. Moyer, 53, of 4288 US Route 11 South, Pulaski, died Tuesday. Born in Adams Center, he attended Sandy Creek schools. He worked for CSX Rail Transport in East Syracuse for 32 years. He was a Navy veteran from 1966 to 1970. Survivors: His wife of 16 years, the former Karyl J. Bettinger; four daughters, Dawn M. Degarmo of Yuma, Ariz., Debbie M. Moyer and Kitryn J. Ellis, both of East Syracuse, and Lisa B. Hellenberg of Pulaski; three sons, Dean P. Jr. of Pulaski, Michael Wade of Charlotte, N.C., and Eric Wade of West Monroe; four sisters, Penny C. Cummings of Verona Center, Darla Moyer of Adams, Gloria Moyer and Mandi Moyer, both of Orchard Park; three brothers, Herb of Mexico, Louis of Lacona and Gary of Roanoke, Va.; 11 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Burial, Richland Cemetery. Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home, 52 Park St., Pulaski.
