Newspaper Obituary -Thursday, October 3, 1968 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Marion Archibee Found Dead, Funeral Held On Sunday ¬Mrs. Marion Jane Archibee, 39, of Richland was found dead Wednesday evening, September 25 by her son, Gary Archibee, following his return from work in Albany. Archibee told State Police that he thought his mother was sleeping, but upon checking later discovered that she was dead. Trooper J. M. Doyle and Investigator Fiegel responded to the call, as well as Assistant A. Nicholson and Acting Coroner's physician Dr. A. B. Thompson. Funeral services for Mrs. Archibee were held Sunday, September 29, at the Foster Funeral Home, the Rev. Gene Kearns, pastor of the Richland Church of Christ, officiating. Burial was in Richland Cemetery. She was born November 22, 1928 at Watertown, the daughter of Ellis and Mary Ferry Van Camp. She attended the Sandy Creek High School, and was married to Fenton Archibee in 1949. She was employed for a time at the Birdseye plant in Futon, and did housework in the area. She was a member of the Church of Christ, Richland. Mrs. Archibee is survived by a son, Gary L. Archibee of Albany, four sisters, Mrs. Altha Hibbard, Mrs. Elmer (Alma) Smith, both of Richland, Mrs. Nellie Archibee of Orwell, and Mrs. Alexandria Christina Robertson of North Syracuse; five brothers, Dennis J. Van Camp of Watertown, Kenneth D. Van Camp of Richland, Allen E. Van Camp of Orwell, Monis E. Van Camp of Weedsport, and Sgt. Hollis M. Van Camp, United States Army in Vietnam; and several nieces and nephews.
