  • Notes
    • James K. Henderson, 71, of Cromwell, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. He was the beloved husband of Donna Clark Henderson for 37 years. Born and raised in Lansdowne, PA, son of the late Charles Henderson, Jr. and Virginia (Kinsman) Henderson, he graduated from Lansdowne-Aldan High School and continued to Rochester Institute of Technology. He then went on to Officer Candidate School before honorably serving his country in the U.S. Navy. Jim retired from the Navy Reserve as a Commander after 25 years. Jim loved woodworking and spending time at Lake George, but above all, he loved his dear granddaughter, Charlotte. He leaves his son, Scott Henderson, and wife Elizabeth of Berlin, and his granddaughters Charlotte and Shelby (due in August). He also leaves his brother, Charles Henderson III and his partner Patricia Morgan of New Oxford, PA, along with several nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Letitia Bingham. His family wishes to thank the staff at St. Francis Hospital along with Dr. Martin Hoffman for their care and compassion. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Jim's memory on Wednesday, April 25th, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington.
