Mrs. Bigness, 74 Dies after long illness rites held July 7
The funeral for Mrs. Priscilla Bigness, 74, of 107 Constable St., Malone, who died Monday, July 4, in Alice Hyde hospital was held Thursday morning at 10 in St. Joseph's church with Rt. Rev Msgr, W. Harold Brennan, pastor, officiating. Burial was in Notre Dame cemetery.
She is survived by four sons, Rosario, Gerald and Norman all of Rochester, and Vernon of Brushton; four daughters, Mrs William (Irene) Trombley and Mrs. Floyd (Ernestine) Jeror both of Malone, Mrs. Fred (Lucyann) Sawyer of Beaumont, Texas and Mrs Chester (Geraldine) Gardner of Rochester; two step-sons, Carl Bigness of Fort Covington and Robert Bigness of Westiville; four step-daughters,Mrs. Rosario (Irene) Lamica and Mrs. Cecil (Helen) Grant, both of Rochester, Mrs. Howard (Grace) Hart of North Bangor,
and Mrs. Howard (Louella) Jeror of Malone; one sister, Mrs. Arthur (Madonna) LaPage of Lachine, Quebec, and 91 grandchildren.
Born in Malone, September 10, 1891, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Martin and lived all her life there. Her husband, Henry Bigness, died September 26, 1959
