- ROBERTA J. EDICK, PULASKI, DIES OF ALS AT 44

Roberta J. Edick, 44, Hollis Road, died Tuesday at her home. She had been ill with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease).
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Baptist Church, with the Revs. Clay Berry and Richard Clay officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 100 Elwood Davis Road, North Syracuse, N.Y. 13212.
Surviving are her husband, Robert H.; two sons, Jeffrey R. and Paul C., both of Pulaski; a granddaughter; her mother, Anna Mae Boyd, and a sister, Nancy B. Thomas, both of Pulaski.
A brother, James. C. Boyd, died May 1, 1971.
Born in Pulaski on Nov. 24, 1948, a daughter of Robert and Anna Mae Parker Boyd, she married Robert H. Edick on Aug. 9, 1966.
She was a 1966 graduate of Pulaski Academy and Central School and attended Data Processing Technical Center, Syracuse.
Mrs. Edick was employed with Charlie Brown Nursery School as a teacher from 1972 to 1992.
