      Newspaper Obituary - Monday, May 5, 2003 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Ruth I. Bennett, Homemaker - Ruth I. Bennett, 85, of 3341 Maple Ave., a lifelong resident of Pulaski, died Saturday in Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Mrs. Bennett was a homemaker and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. Born June 10, 1917, in Pulaski, daughter of Arthur and Marion Hilliker Burdick, she attended Pulaski schools. She married Edson N. Bennett on September 22, 1940. He died July 26, 1994. Surviving are a son, Richard "Rick," Pulaski; a sister, Dorothy Elkin, Pulaski, and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in South Richland Cemetery, Fernwood. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with Foster-Hax Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Northern Oswego County Ambulance, Delano Street, Pulaski, New York 13142.
