- SYLVIA M. KINNEY, PULASKI, DIES AT AGE OF 93

Sylvia M. Kinney, 93, of 7630 Jefferson St., died Friday in Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Park United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Elizabeth Mowry, pastor, officiating. The body will be cremated.
There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are with the Taylor-Vida Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Pulaski Historical Society or the Pulaski Library.
Surviving are two sons, Charles H., Georgia, and Calvin, Oswego; a daughter, Rosemary K. Murray, Michigan; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne and Lee Pratt, both of Pulaski, and several nephews and nieces.
Born in Sandy Creek on May 27, 1898, a daughter of Charles and Matie Tryon Pratt, she was a graduate of Pulaski Training School and Oswego Normal School. She married Herbert Kinney in 1919 in Pulaski. He died in 1982.
Mr. and Mrs. Kinney managed Park Auto Service. Mrs. Kinney was employed with the Pulaski School System as a teacher and was historian for the Pulaski Historical Society for several years.
She was a member of the Monday Club, the Women's Civic Club, the Monday Historical Society, the Oswego County Historical Society, the Rebekahs and the Pulaski Grange.
