    • Newspaper Obituary - February 14, 2013 Syracuse Post Standard - Syracuse, New York - Phyllis A. Robarge, age 88, life resident of Richland, passed away Tuesday at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse with her loving family by her side. Phyllis was born September 20, 1924 in Richland, the daughter of James and Avis Donovan Widrig. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1941. She married Donald F. Robarge on September 12, 1941, he passed away January 17, 2006. Phyllis was a member of Christ Our Light Parish in Pulaski, and the Half Shire Historical Society in Richland. Surviving: two sons, Jame E. (Kay) Robarge of Auburndale, FL and Donald F. (Susan) Robarge Jr. of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Sharon A. Robarge of Richland; nine grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, seven stepgreat-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and one brother David Widrig of South Daytona, FL. Phyllis was predeceased by two sons, Richard and John Robarge; and one daughter, Shelia Robarge. Funeral Services will be held at 10 a.m., Saturday at Christ Our Light Parish, 23 Niagara Street, Pulaski with a spring burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Orwell. Calling hours will be held from 3 to 6 p.m., Friday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski. Donations in Phyllis' memory may be made to the Half Shire Historical Society, PO Box 73, Richland, NY 13144.
