- Marion K. Haywood, 64, Mexico Street, Altmar, died Sunday in the House of the Good Samaritan.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 7385 Park St., Pulaski, with the Rev. Donald Easton officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Altmar.
Calling hours were scheduled from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Surviving are seven sons, Floyd, Eugene, Dale, and Kevin, all of Altmar, Robert, Potsdam, and Terry and Darryll, both of Pulaski; two daughters, Sharon Horning and Zona Oakes, both of Altmar; three stepsons, Richard Haywood, DeKalb Junction, Lawrence Haywood, Ogdensburg, and Gary Haywood, Potsdam; a stepdaughter, Sally Bump, Altmar; 24 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; her mother, Dora Jerome, Potsdam; three brothers, Merv, George, and Mike Jerome, all of Potsdam; and three sisters, Hilda Keleher, Alberta Hoyt, and Elizabeth Jerome, all of Potsdam.
Born in Potsdam Dec. 26, 1925, the daughter of Ernest and Dora Price Jerome, she was graduated from Potsdam High School in 1943 and had been employed by Emkay Candle Co., Syracuse, for 25 years, retiring in 1987. She had lived in the Altmar area for the past 30 years.
She married Earl C. Haywood Sept. 30, 1946. Mr. Haywood died Aug. 24, 1981.
Mrs. Haywood was a member of the United Steelworkers union.
