C. Son of Edmund and Mary A. Suydane Allen. Husband of Sarah Strong Allen.
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 11, 1886 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - The funeral of Mr. Orla Allen, a notice of whose death appears under the usual heading, will be held this, Wednesday, afternoon at 2 o'clock, from the residence of his father-in-law, William Strong, Esq., on Jefferson Street, Rev. Robert Paul officiating. The deceased was a member of the Masonic fraternity and Pulaski Lodge will take charge of the services.
      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, February 11, 1886 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Died - In this village, at the residence of William Strong, Esq., February 7, 1886, Orla Allen, aged 44 years. The deceased was at one time engaged in business in this village as a jeweler and did a large trade. His early life was passed in Orwell. During the rebellion he faithfully served his country in the cavalry. He leaves behind him a sorrowing wife and daughter. Mrs. Allen is daughter of Mr. William Strong.
