      Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, September 13, 1978 Sandy Creek News - Sandy Creek, New York - Allen M Benway Expires - Allen M. Benway, 65, Hilton Road, Pulaski, Route 2, Town of Sandy Creek, died Wednesday afternoon, September 6, in the House of the Good Samaritan, Watertown. Born June 7, 1913, in the Town of Boylston, a son of Alfred and Rose Johnson Benway he attended Pulaski Academy and was self-employed as a carpenter. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Marie Benway; a daughter, Miss Mary Ellen Benway, Pulaski; two brothers, Howard and Louis, of Pulaski, and two sisters, Mrs. Nettie Parrow, Pulaski, and Mrs. Evelyn Anson, Central Square. The funeral was Saturday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home with Rev. Roger M. Crast officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Pulaski.
