- WILLIAMSTOWN - Mrs. Cora M. Brazie, 74, died last night at the home of her niece, Mrs. William Wallis, Valley Rd., Maple View. She and her husband made their home with the niece the past two weeks, Mrs. Brazie being in poor health.
She was born in the Town of Williamstown, September 10,1886, daughter of Francis and Sophronia Loomis Benway, and had made her home in town all her life. She was twice wed, her second husband being Francis A. Brazie to who she was married July 23, 1936, by the Rev. James Polney at the Methodist Church parsonage, Altmar. For the past 13 years they had made their home on Maple Ave.
Mrs. Brazie was a member of the Williamstown Federated Church. Surviving are her husband, a twin brother, Arthur Benway, Santa Anna, Calif., a sister, Mrs. Roy Looker, Sherburne, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Sanborn Funeral Home, Camden, with burial in Fair View Cemetery, Williamstown. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
