Newspaper Obituary - Monday, August 19, 1996 Watertown Daily Times - Watertown, New York - Frances L. Archibee, Native of Texas, New York - Frances L. Archibee, 70, of 430 North Main Street, died Sunday at Samaritan-Keep Home, Watertown. Born November 7, 1925, in Texas, New York, daughter of Myron and Dorothy Wilcox Rogers, she had lived in Mannsville since 1955 and attended Mannsville schools. She had also lived in Sandy Creek for many years. She married Donald K. Archibee January 20, 1955. He died October 18, 1987. Surviving are two sons, Steven D., Mannsville, and John E., Orwell; three daughters, Mary Frances Alvarez, Los Alamitos, California, Dawn M. Archibee, Mannsville, and Joy F. Covey, Mannsville; three brothers, Myron Rogers Jr., Mannsville, Howard Rogers, Pierrepont Manor, and James Rogers, Ellisburg; five sisters, Virginia Thompson, Georgia Rogers and Alice Riley, all of Pierrepont Manor, Arlene Peterson, Adams, and Cecil Rogers, Ellisburg, and eight grandchildren. The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Foster-Hax Funeral Home, Pulaski, with the Rev. Jane Sauter officiating. Burial will be in Pulaski Cemetery. Calling hours will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, 425 Washington Street, Watertown, New York 13601.
