    • Newspaper Obituary - August 16, 1982 Pulaski Democrat - Allie A. Look, 64 of Chesapeake, Va,. died Tues., Aug. 10, 1982 at Chesapeake General Hospital after a short illness. A native of Sandy Creek and Lacona area, he served a lifetime in the service in World War II, Korean and Vietnam Wars. After 30 years service he retired from the Coast Guard as Master Chief Petty Officer in 1972, continuing as a building inspector for the Coast Guard until his death. He was married to the late Mary Smith, Orwell, N.Y., mother of their two children Marilyn and Walter until her death in 1965. He married Ethel Calhoun of Virginia in 1967. Surviving are his wife Ethel, a daughter Mrs. Jeffrey (Marilyn) Smith of Virginia Beach, Va., a son Walter of Chesapeake, Va., two stepsons, Ralph and Russell Sullivan of Virginia Beach, and seven step grandchildren, his father Albert Look of Sandy Creek and a sister Mrs. James (Emma) Caster of Orwell, N.Y. Services were at Holloman and Brown Funeral Home, 6568 Indian River Rd., Virginia Beach, Va. Sat, Aug 14, 1982. Burial was in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, Norfolk, Va.
