      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 31, 1946 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. Etta Andrews Dies Suddenly - Mrs. Etta E. Andrews, 87, died at 4:30 p.m. last Thursday after a serious illness of only a few hours. Mrs. Andrews had been suffering from a slight cold for several days, and early Thursday morning she suffered a heart attack from which she failed to rally. She was the widow of William Andrews, for many years in the bus and trucking business in Pulaski. She was born in Mexico December 19, 1858, daughter of Lewis and Jane Clark Dawley. She came to Pulaski at the time of her marriage and had made her home here ever since. She was a charter member of the Women's Civic Club, member of the Methodist Church for 69 years and oldest member of J. B. Butler Post, Women’s Relief Corps. She had been a member of the Maunder class of the Methodist church for many years and had been active in church affairs throughout her life. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Florence Harte, two great-grandchildren, Marjorie and Howard Brown, Pulaski, and several nieces. Funeral services were held at her home in North Street at 2 p.m., Sunday by Rev. James N. Pauley of the Pulaski Methodist Church. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery.
