Alice D. Walker, 81, of Syracuse, passed away at Crouse Hospital at 3 a.m. Sunday after a long battle with lung cancer. She was born in Orwell, NY, on October 24, 1926, to the late Harry and Lydia Archibee. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arnold, Donald and Lee, and a sister, Pauline "Butch." Alice is survived by her husband, John; sister, Nita Leana of Richmond, VA; and several loving nieces, nephews, other living relatives and friends. There will be no calling hours. Services and burial will be private.
