She also taught in the Hastings-Checkered House Corners School District. Her husband, Ernest, died in 1982. Survivors: A niece, Dorothy J. Garret of Parish; a nephew, Stuart Butterworth of Liverpool; four great-nieces. Services: In the spring. Burial, Pleasant Lawn Cemetery, Parish.
