Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, October 13, 1949 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Mrs. H. M. Sprague Dies Suddenly - Mrs. Mary B. Carl Sprague, 61, wife of Herbert M. Sprague, died suddenly at her home in Glen avenue, Friday evening, while at the supper table. Although she had been in poor health for the past five years, she had been around the house as usual that day. Her death was almost immediately after she was stricken. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 2 p.m. Monday afternoon by Rev. James N. Pauley, pastor of the Methodist church. Interment was made in the Willis cemetery, Fernwood. Surviving besides her husband, are two daughters, Miss Margaret Sprague of Pulaski and Mrs. Myrtle Viers of Syracuse; a brother, Paul Carl, Pulaski, and two nephews. Mrs. Sprague was born in Centerville, May 12, 1888, a daughter of James and Minerva Caldwell Carl. She spent her early life in Centerville until her family moved to Warners. On December 31, 1908 she was married to Mr. Sprague in Mexico. They resided in Fernwood until 22 years ago when they moved to Pulaski. Mr. Sprague is an auto mechanic at the Park Auto Service. Mrs. Sprague attended the Methodist church.
