Theodore S. "Ted" Turner, 75, of Second Street died Monday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, Syracuse.
Mr. Turner was a native of Camden. He retired in 1979 as a supervisor of the stranding department after 37 years with Camden Wire Co.
Mr. Turner attended Camden United Methodist Church and was a member of the Camden Lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows. He was a 50-year member and former assistant chief of the Camden Fire Department.
Surviving are his wife, the former Hazel Wines; two daughters, Marilyn Plato of Little Rock, Ark., and Nancy Williams of Oneida; two brothers, Ernest of Syracuse and Jay of Pulaski; a sister, Betty Dawley of Pulaski; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Sanborn-McDaniels & LaRobardiere Funeral Home. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Camden.
Contributions may be made to the Camden United Methodist Church.
