- James Henry Allen - August 5, 1847 - March 30, 1915. Plot P-164. Born in Ireland. Son of William David and Margaret Graham Allen. Husband of Mary Caroline Walsh Allen.
Newspaper Obituary - Wednesday, April 7, 1915 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - James Allen - James Allen, aged 67, died at his home, Delano street, last Wednesday morning March 31. Mr. Allen was born in Ireland and came to this country when a young man. He resided at Sandy Creek many years removing to this village about twelve years ago. He was a shoemaker and had a shop in the basement of the Froude block up to about four months ago when his health failed and he was obliged to take to his home where he has been ill since. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, one son, William, and two daughters, Mrs. Freeman Davis, of Lacona and Mrs. Demster Lyons, of this village. The funeral was held Friday afternoon from the home. Rev. A. P. Palmer officiated. Burial in Pulaski cemetery.
