      Newspaper Obituary - Friday, September 13, 1935 Oswego Palladium Times - Oswego, New York - Pulaski, September 13 - Robert J. Carl, 83, died early Friday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Herbert Sprague, Pulaski. He has been a well-known farmer in Fernwood and vicinity. Mr. Carl was born in Hartford, Connecticut, 1831, son of the late John and Margaret Corbett Carl. He came to Oswego county with his parents when 10 years old. The family occupied the place at Sandy Pond now known as The Elms. Mr. Carl had been in poor health several years and had made his home with his daughter, Mrs. Sprague. Survivors are two sons, William Carl of Pulaski and Paul Carl of Fernwood; the daughter, Mrs. Sprague, and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be at the Sprague home Sunday at 2 o'clock with interment in Willis cemetery.
