  Marvin died at Crouse Iving Memorial Hospital in Syracuse following a long illness. He was a life resident of Parish and was part owner of Miller Lumber Co., in Parish. He was a member and past chief of the Parish Vol. Fire Dept.; member and past president of the Oswego County Firemen's Assoc; life member and past president of Oswego County Fire Chiefs Assoc; member and past chairman of the Oswego County Fire Advisory Board; past director of Northern and Central Vol. Firemens Assoc; life memberrof the State of New York Firemen's Assoc and deputy county fire coordinator. He is survived by his wife, the former Joyce Webb, two sons, Kenneth and Frank both of Parish; five daughters, Mrs Evelyn Bellinger of Norfolk, Va, Mrs Jeanette Maynes of Parish, Mrs Mary Lou Smithers of Miami Beach, Fl, Mrs Peggy Presley of Lacona; four grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, his mother Mrs Lucille Holmes of Parish and a brother Robert of Parish. Interment was in Pleasant Lawn Cemetery.
