      Newspaper Obituary - Thursday, August 2, 1945 Pulaski Democrat - Pulaski, New York - Robert C. Babcock Services Sunday - Robert Curtis Babcock, 65, a native of Orwell and lifelong resident of this vicinity died early Friday morning at his North Street home. He had not been in good health for several years but his condition was not considered serious until the past several weeks. He had undergone a major operation six weeks ago but had returned home two weeks ago today. He was the son of Curtis and Jane Babcock and was born in the town of Orwell on October 4, 1880. He had made his home in Pulaski for 45 years, where he was a paper hanger and painter. Mr. Babcock was an active member of First Baptist church and the Baracca class of that church. He is survived by his wife, a son, Elmer W. Babcock of Pulaski; two brothers, Delbert Babcock of Pulaski and Charles Babcock of Syracuse. Funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at his home. The Rev. B. A. Walton of Camden, formerly pastor of Pulaski Baptist Church, officiated at the service. Burial was in Pulaski Cemetery.
