Charles L. Dennis, 84, a native of Texas, died in the Onondaga General hospital, Syracuse, Friday after an illness of three weeks. Mr. Dennis had also lived in Oswego, Syracuse, and Scriba. For a number of years he was connected with the Oswego Life Saving station under Capt. Frederick Anderson. He was a member of the Baptist church, Surviving are five sons; Ora L., Frank H., Aaron Q., Benjamin F. and Floyd R; Dennis, and three daughters, Mrs. Guy Newstead, Mrs. Norton Halliday, Scriba, Mrs. George West of Syracuse. Burial was made Monday in Mexico village cemetery.
