- ADAMS CENTER - A private burial service for Judson E. "Tuddy" Roach Jr., 42, of 17473 County Route 63, will be in Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
Mr. Roach died Sunday afternoon at his home, where he was under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County. He had been ill with cancer.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at TLC Funeral Home, town of Watertown.
He was a stonemason with his grandfather, Edward Berry. He later drove a truck for Reiman's Wholesale in Watertown and then assumed operation of his family's farm until this fall, stopping due to ill health.
He enjoyed snowmobiling, hunting and gardening.
Born April 16, 1966, in Watertown, son of Judson E. and Janet Berry Roach, he graduated from Sackets Harbor Central School in 1986 and studied diesel mechanics for two years at Jefferson-Lewis Board of Cooperative Educational Services.
A marriage ended in separation.
Surviving are his father and stepmother, Judson and Linda Roach, Adams Center; his mother, Janet Dudley, Adams Center; two brothers, Richard, Leavenworth, Kan., and Wade, Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; four sisters and a brother-in-law, Angela and Scott Breuer, Virginia Beach, Va., Sherri Damon and Lisa Dion, both of Adams Center, and Kelly Nichols, Rodman; maternal grandmother, Thelma Dennee, Watertown; and maternal stepgrandmother, Elsie Berry, Watertown.
