    • Newspaper Obituary - July 12, 1988 Time Leader - Wilkes-Barre - Mary Kinney - Mary E. Kinney, Thomas Street, Wilkes-Barre, died Monday morning July 11, 1988, at the Leader East Nursing Center, Kingston. Born in Miners Mills, she was the daughter of the late James and Anna Fleming Kinney. She was a graduate of Columbia Avenue School, Miners Mills, and was employed for Bergman's Dept. Store, Edwardsville for over 60 years, retiring in 1974. Miss Kinney was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, Miners Mills and its Altar and Rosary Society. She was preceeded in death by brothers, Frank and Thomas, sister, Genevieve Mattick. Surviving are serveral nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Thursday at 9 a.m. from the Corcoran Funeral Home, 20 S. Main St., Plains, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 in Blessed Sacrament Church, Miners Mills. Interment will be St. Mary's Cemetery, Hanover Twp. Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Christian Wake Service will be conducted Wednesday at 4 p.m.
