    • Newspaper Obituary - Tuesday, March 5, 1946 Wilkes-Barre Record - GEORGE ELWOOD COTTON - George Elwood Cotton, 186 South Grant Street, died at 4 yesterday afternoon in Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Mr. Cotton was born in Parsons, a son of Mr. and Mrs. E. George Cotton. He was graduated from Coughlin High School and Wymoning Seminary. Surviving him are two sisters, Alma and Edna, both at home. The funeral will be held from the home on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 with Rev. Walter Moore of Grant Street Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be in Hollenback Cemetery. Arrangements by W. E. Doron.
