    • Newspaper Obituary - April 2, 1957 Wilkes-Barre Times Leader Evening News - Frank Kinney Dies In Mercy Hospital - Frank A. Kinney, of 215 East Thomas Street, Miners Mills section, died last night at 9:45 in Mercy Hospital following an illness of several weeks. Mr. Kinney was a brakeman for the Delaware and Hudson Railroad. A lifelong resident of Miners Mills, he was a son of the late James and Anna Fleming Kinney. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a veteran of World War 2 and a member of American Legion Post 741, Miners Mills. He was also a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen. His brother Thomas, Wilkes-Barre Publishing Company printer, died in October 1956. Surviving are a sister, Mary Kinney, at home, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held from the funeral home 20 South Main Street, Plains. Friends may call tonight 7 to 10.
